Our Plan

Our aim is to focus recruiting efforts specifically for Client Advocates. Over the past six years, it has been evident that the Lord has ordained each client’s visit. We are confident that He will continue to grow the ministry by sending desperate women in crisis.

It is imperative that advocates are called and equipped by Him to serve. We will utilize the four strategic methods below to locate new prospects.
  • Pray and ask others to join us in this very specific plea.
  • Place advertisements in church publications for general volunteers in hopes that a viable advocate candidate might respond.
  • Ask each current volunteer, client advocate, staff member, and board member to identify three persons who could potentially serve as client advocates.
  • Obtain permission/schedule (as appropriate) for our Director to visit various churches to speak in Bible study classes and women’s groups about the Center and our current needs.

Our objective for the future is to utilize more fully the larger, dedicated classroom by expanding the sixteen week curriculum. We are currently teaching “What to Do”, but we envision adding classes for “How to Accomplish It”.
  • A cooking class after the class on nutrition for prenatal care.
  • A GED course after the class on the need for more education. This could also include literacy classes for those who need to learn how to read and computer classes in Microsoft Office products.
  • A workshop for preparing budgets after the financial management class, with follow up reviews to help the client implement her plan.
  • A gathering after the relationship building session to include movies and interaction with couples who have strong bonds. For a start, we have obtained the movies: “Blindside”, “Fireproof” and “Bella”.
  • A deliverance group for those who are struggling with events from their past such as substance abuse or post abortion.
